TO: MEMBERS OF THE BUREAU FROM: Richard Colvin RE: Codes 0050 - Farm Machinery Operations - By Contractor - & Drivers 8232 - Lumberyard New Materials Only: All Other Employees & Yard, Warehouse, Drivers 2014 - Grain Milling 4583 - Fertilizer Mfg. & Drivers 8215 - Hay Grain or Feed Dealer & Local Manager, Drivers Effective July 1, 1999, all fertilizer spreading operations (liquid and dry) will be assigned to code 0050 - Farm Machinery Operation By Contractor & Drivers. Previously, dry fertilizer spreading had been assigned to code 8232 - Lumberyard New Materials by analogy. In addition, employers assigned to code 2014 - Grain Milling or 8215 - Hay Grain or Feed Dealer that previously had code 4583 - Fertilizer Mfg. & Drivers assigned for their blending operations, will now have this code deleted and the exposure included under code 8215. If only code 2014 - Grain Milling was being used with code 4583, code 4583 will be eliminated and the payroll reassigned to code 8215. If code 4583 was being used with code 8215, then code 4583 will be deleted and the payroll included under code 8215. Again, this reclassification is effective on new and renewal business effective July 1, 1999 and beyond. |
